Fellow ASIS Members –
It is with deep sadness and regret we announce the loss of an integral part of our community with the passing of our dear friend and colleague Renny Thomas.
Renny Thomas, MBA, CPS, Managing Partner of TNT Executive Services out of Issaquah, WA was a dedicated investigative professional who had passion and love for all that our industry provides. Renny served as the Legislative Chair for the ASIS International Puget Sound Chapter in 2014 and was instrumental in facilitating our monthly meetings with the CPP Review group during the year.
Renny had been diagnosed a few years ago with terminal cancer and even so refused to succumb or “throw in the towel”.
This year he had to reluctantly step away from any formal roles with our ASIS Chapter and others he was involved with to address his needs and those of his family. Even so he still insisted on lending his expertise for newsletter contributions and corresponding on other matters. We are grateful for his service, consistency, and dedication.
Renny is survived by his wife – Heather, son – Renny Jr, and his parents. If you knew Renny, you know he was a family man first and foremost, always chatting about his family, activities and events in a fond way. We will dearly miss him and his contagious positive personality.
Heather has shared the following information for those of you who may want to pay your respects to Renny:
Many people are asking questions regarding contact information and about a service date, time and place for Renny Thomas.
I don’t have everything finalized yet. Renny was cremated by his choice and we will most likely wait until the week of July 5th to have his service at our home church in Yakima at Yakima Foursquare. I will write later with the address and an exact date and time.
Our mailing address is:
PO Box 1181
Issaquah, WA 98027
I’ve decided the most peaceful place for me to stay for the time being is at our 5th wheel on Tiger Mountain. Much more calming than our condo in the city. That address is:
9002 302nd Ave SE #45
Issaquah, WA 98027
This is the most current information and we wanted to share this with you prior to the July 4th Holiday weekend, in case you want to keep tabs to attend his Memorial Service.
The service for Renny Thomas will take place on:
Tuesday, July 7, 2015
Four Square Church
700 North 40th Avenue
Yakima, WA, 98908
Any thoughts you wish to share with the family can be sent to Renny’s Mom, Marlene Thomas – firstname.lastname@example.org
Rest in Peace Renny!
With Sad and Thoughtful Regards,
Michael Delamere | Chapter Chair
Dan Kieling | Chapter Vice-Chair
