We hope you have had a fun-filled summer, enjoying some down time with family & friends! The board has been busy with succession planning for 2016 and beyond the past couple months in addition to putting finishing touches on our chapter events/activities for September through December.
This Friday Sept 11th from 9am – 1:30pm the chapter IT committee is hosting a CyberAttack & Defense Workshop at Lockheed Martin in Bothell. We’re excited to have the CISO of Lockheed Martin speaking along with the principal of Rhino Labs.
October 8th will see our annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner hosted at the Gold Creek Church in Mill Creek with a keynote address from John Lovick, former WSP and current Snohomish County Executive. We would love to have you come out and support our breathern in law enforcement to help celebrate their tireless efforts in keeping our communities safe!
The year culminates in our largest event of the year, our Annual Seminar & Exhibits, being held Nov 2nd & 3rd at the Lynnwood Convention Center in Lynnwood. Check out our dynamic speakers and topics, we have grown the agenda significantly this year over last as you had requested and are bringing in industry experts highlighted by keynotes from Joe McDonald, CPP, CSO of Switch and ASIS International Board of Directors member as well as Gene Snavely, Manager of Global Supply Chain & Physical Security of Starbucks.
